Description

Maintain openpilot lateral control when the brake or gas pedals are used.

Deactivation occurs only through the 'Cruise Control' button.

"Always On Lateral" allows users to maintain lateral control as long as the "Cruise Control" status is active even when pressing the gas or brake pedal.

Subtoggles

  • Control Via LKAS Button - Enable or disable "Always On Lateral" by clicking your "LKAS" button
  • Enable On Cruise Main - Enable "Always On Lateral" by clicking your "Cruise Control" button without requiring openpilot to be enabled first
  • Pause On Brake Below - Pause "Always On Lateral" when the brake pedal is being pressed below the set speed
  • Hide the Status Bar - Don't use the status bar for "Always On Lateral"

  • "Control Via LKAS Button" subtoggle added to control the state of "Always On Lateral" via the LKAS button as long as the "Cruise Control" status is active (July 2024)
  • "Pause On Brake Below" subtoggle added to pause "Always On Lateral" if the brake pedal is pressed below the user set speed (May 2024)
  • "Enable On Cruise Main" subtoggle added to enable "Always On Lateral" by just having the "Cruise Control" status be active instead of requiring openpilot to be engaged first (September 2023)
